Anatomy of an Icon:
15 Season’s of Grey’s
THNK1994 created an experiential art exhibit that ran throughout the weekend of September 21st, 2018 in West Hollywood, CA to celebrate 15 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy. The exhibit gave diehard fans a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with their idols.
3 Days with more than 4000 Attendees
Lining Up Around the Block
Instagrammable Installations
The exhibit featured several large and small scale interactive installations that celebrated the most iconic moments from the show.
Making Your Own Moments
Whether attendees were posing for their Grey + Sloan ID badge, making it official with “their person,” or diving into the “House of Candles,” they were able to celebrate and reignite their love for the series that has been with them for 15 years.
So unique you had to be there…
The word got out quickly and the line was wrapped around and down the block. The mix of installations, artifacts, and art exploded on social media after its opening day, which inspired fans from across the city and state to rush over for a chance to experience it before it was gone. The line had to be cut off around 2pm the closing day to ensure everyone waiting would get a chance to experience the exhibit.
Original Art
Original art and artifacts from the show, displayed as they would be in a museum, provided a brand new way to experience the series. The appeal of seeing paintings in person combined with photographable installations gave fans every incentive to mobilize and share their experiences with their friends and followers.
The Cast at the Opening
The stars of the show attended the VIP opening night reception, which ignited their fan bases. They couldn’t wait to hit the same step and repeat and take their own photos in the multitude of installations throughout the exhibit.
